1.- What can be seen with clarity, so bright that can even blind you. - Fir Club Moss
I can see lots of things very clearly at the moment. Eyes wide open... and in that there is a sense of awe and wonder. And ya know, thats something I have been missing recently.
I had an amazing experience last night connecting to the Horned One, lord of animals... and it was just, spine chilling. Just amazing that after 10 years or so of spiritual 'stuff' that I do, you get things that take you completely by surprise and with wonder.
And I think the Fir Club Moss is fab. Im a tiny plant in the big whole of the universe, but its connection, its energy, its nwyfre and magic is as strong and as life changing as the ancient yews and the standing stones.
Hengwah as one Mr The Bard would say :)

But also, a small thing can start a huge change. And I hope this is true for somone i care about, and I hope i get to help them through that change.

2.- What gets completed. What closes a cycle. Cuckoo Pint Rx
A period of disharmony and toxicity... well I hope this is very true! We need some harmony and balance!
But, this is something that individuals have to seek out for themselves, to realise and integrate what they do and have done and own it.
And I've been part of that myself... I really hope to catch up with a dear old friend this week that I havent seen in a long time, who I wasnt exactly pleasant to the last time we actually spoke to one another. Although hes forgiven me (or he'd say nothing to forgive) I guess I wont have harmony in me until I see him myself and get a hug :) It will mean a lot to me.

3.- What begins to fade away, to darken, to abandon you... or what needs to be. Primrose Rx.
Theres a really amazing line in the book for primrose 'to what degree is your quest in life to find completion through another human being, or through yourself?'
How so very very true.
But also, to what degree can you try to actively avoid harmony with another being by pretending to be 'questing'? Ive had a few readings recently talking about a love interest coming into my life - and Im like 'really? Are you sure? Im way to busy to bother about boys' but maybe the universe has other plans? I really dont know how to feel about that.
Hmmmph.

0.- Yourself. Shadow card, from the base of the deck. Woad
Ah good old woad, how many times does it come up for me at the mo? Me and my Huntress energy, questing, hunting, a bit 'do or die' in some aspects. Well, it keeps the Gods on their toes hehehe.
But whatever, I am free... the sky is my limit. I have the freedom to do what I want, and ok I have things that im duty bound to, things like uni/work etc, but they are part of my freedom. I freely chose that path and I freely love to run on it. And my others.
Ya know, I cant complain because Im free to make the most of what I have, and most of the time I do try to do that.
This Page of Swords chappy though, this Primrose man... hmmmmm
but lets not throw out the idea coz thats when we judge that which isnt even seen yet.

But I hope hes hot ;)

Card of the Day - madder

I thought I'd pull a card to see what I need to know today and pulled Madder
A really interesting card as my body is starting to go into my bleeding time. I dont mind my bleeding, but boy I know when they are coming.
So I feel Madder is asking me to just embrace the monthly changes that happen to me :)

Also, I had a lovely day today seeing some friends, and that gave me some great advice. With lots of things pushing me here and there I have felt a bit torn, but today I feel like I've had the message to not doubt things and go with where Ive been told to go.. embrace the journey.

And that I wont be doing it alone.

ETA - Ive just been out to have a ponder and a think.. and as I felt the moons rays spread across the sky and on to the snow, the grass, the trees and then me.. I had a phrase come into mind.. Everything she changes she touches, everything she touches she changes
Aint it the truth

Elemental Herbs.. Air

Ive been pondering a lot on herbs, the DPO and the elements. So I wanted to do a bit of a pondering on Air today, with the plan that over the next few weeks I'll go through all the elements :)

So - air, the element of the Swords and most things sharp and pointy. It links with communication, travel, protection, clean/fresh air, and even sleep and dreams - as good sleep and dream interpretation are part of a healthy mind as well. Also Air deals with the intellect, so the accumulation of knowledge and hopefully understanding. I often think of professions like Lawyers, and crossword lovers with Air, as its that precision of finding the right word, the turning of the grey matter and looking at things from every angle. Air is linked with all winged creatures, birds, insects like dragonflies and bees... Zodiac is Libra, Aquarius and Gemini, the planets of Mercury, Jupiter and Uranus. Sense of smell and sound and the throat chakra.

So what does that mean for plants?!
Well heres my lowdown of my interpretation of Air plants in the DPO..
Agrimony - of liberation and soul flight, feeling free to fly. It is also a herb of purification. I feel that Agrimony is a plant that just makes us think differently at life and lets us see the good rather than the negative. Also, Agrimony is a very tall plant, and height is associated with air and bringing objectivity.
Borage - acting within your own ethical framework, and sometimes that means fighting. The card has a sword in its scabbard saying you should be prepared to fight for what you believe to be right, after a good long think about it and trying to resolve it with words etc. Rosemary is another herb of purification and cleansing the mind of feeling blue, especially PMT induced moody blues.
Celtic Bean - communicating with the dead/ancestors, but also seeing clearly about the ancestors of land. Its easy in our very modernised world to think the ancestors lived a life so deeply attuned to the land and were happy - take off the rosetinted glasses! Also, it cleanses negativity and promoted intergration and acting within our integrity, else the winds will change on you and return what you put out.
Fern - a bolt out of the blue, what the winds suddenly blow into your way and becoming invisible like the wind. Fern also has deep connections to the lifeforce which in Yogic traditions associates prana with breath/air.
Meadowsweet - to celebrate and even instigate change and thinking of ways around a problem (like Gwydion thinking of ways around Arianrhod's wishes).
Mint - as it calms the mind and emotional anxiety and worrying. Also its good for freshening your breath and airways.. also like Menthol.
Mistletoe - its up high in the air, and I feel its energies are a plant to rule complementary therapies which are an 'all-heal' in that they look at everything holistically, no just the symptom/cause/disease of modern medicine (although thats a very useful tactic when feeling ill too!). It cuts what is waste out of our lives, and helps us to reap from our own knowledge and wisdom. Also mistletoe I think its a herb of oral traditions.
Vervain - the star herb of the druids that was meant to be harvested under the light of the rising Dog Star. It promotes good dreams, and frees our minds from our desires, focusing on what is important and not 'temptations', although at the same time Vervain is a bit of a trickster energy, for it is also believed to be an amphrodisiac! lol.

Others herbs of Air are..
Anise - for its powers of concentration and focusing the mind
lemon verbena - a strong cleansing smell, thats good for promoting messages/communication, especially between lovers.
lavendar - its strong scent calms the mind, and promotes sleep and dispells worries and replaces them with a feeling of contentment.
Parsley - for protection as well as purification, for it cleanses the palete and freshens breath as well as the mind.
Peppermint - great for bringing up trapped wind! I also think its a great herb for expressing what really is on your mind, the thoughts that you feel trapped by and unable to say.
Rosemary - for it cleanses the mind from PMT associated blues, bringing you a clear head out of a hormonal chaos, the 'i dont know why I feel so upset or angry' kinda feeling. Also, rosemary helps promote your memory!
Sage - has long been associated with Air, for its purifying incense/smoke, also Sage tea is wonderful for soothing sore throats, and it magically helps us pick our words carefully, thinking before we speak.
Wormwood - for promoting the ability to communicate with the spirit world and the dead. It also is a heavy protection herb, the Mafia of herbal protection.

And lets think of a few of the Tree Ogham for Air..

Birch - the tall silvery lady who bends in the wind. A tree of flexibility, who's bark can be used as paper to write and also great for catching flint sparks to create a fire. This tree blesses new beginnings, like the dawn of a new day.
Ash - A tree of your world view, but also for linking betweeen the worlds. Promotes travelling to them as well as recieving messages from the other realms. Ash always makes me think of arrows, cutting through the air, that firm focused energy out of the chaos.
Ivy - the life force, like prana.. also many pieces of pagan iconography show figures with ivy pouring out of their mouths. It also keeps us focused on our contracts, our word being our bond and keeping to our goals.
Pine/Elm - reaching new heights, climbing to see a new perspective, objectivity. Its also the tree of seeing things with a new revitalised look if you've look been on a path or job that is starting to feel stale, or trapped by a 'glass ceiling' of your own making.

Druid Plant Calendar 14th Feb - 15th March Vervain Moon

So, we've had a few Moons already now..
Madder Moon,
Chamomile Moon,

and I know Im lack of this current Moon - but I've been super busy and super tired to even get 10 mins to pull a card and blog about it. I love having a full life, but its been rather overflowing. That spell of flu I had delayed lots of stuff... although I did get to kick back and dose myself up on herbal teas and good books during the flu - very good Chamomile energy! hehe

So.. this moon, already in its first quarter I know.. but the DPO says it is the Vervain Moon
I do like this... Vervain is a plant of power, of connecting to the energies and in doing so sharing energies. As this moon grows I can spring growing into its fullness, and as it does our spirits grow also. It starts with spring cleaning, with feeling that mad 'march hare' energy, bits of chaos but love and fun within it :)
A time for problems to be overcome, and love to spring forth says the book... nice one :)

another night, another dream..

Last night I had another weird and wacky dream..

My dad askes me to give his hair a cut. This is nothing unusual because he's too much of a cheapskate to go to the hairdressers LOL. As I was cutting it I jokily say 'oh, does this mean your going to give me £10 for all my hair work?'. And he totally flies off the handle, leading to being in a very big, shouty, personal, arguement.
And all the while in my dream Im thinking 'this is a bloody stupid thing to fall out over'.

I woke up feeling very tense, all of that tension and anger in the dream in my waking mood etc.

So, thought I'd ask my DPO for some insight into the dream :)
Top card is Mandrake
Hmm, with the coins in the card and the cheekily asking for £10, I can see that money is reflected in the dream. I've not got a lot of money worries personally, but as always you can never have enough of it. Other members of my family arent as good as managing their money, so it could be that whilst I was being cheeky in asking for a £10, I was picking up on a very sore point for my Dad - who is a massive worrier.
Mandrake also offers (says the book) powers of analgesia, relief of pain.. so maybe its asking me to see if theres more I can do to help with my dads stresses, or the causes of them.

Base card is Mistletoe
Hmm the symbolism of cutting hair I think is important...dream dictionaries and interpretations say that cutting someones hair is either helping them with a problem (cutting it out their life) or disempowering that person by trying to solve their problems for them.
So perhaps theres a feeling of being careful at how I try to help.
Mistletoe reversed in the book says sometimes, the universe wants us to stand on our own two feet, to be empowered and not just hope the universe will fix all our problems for us.

Hmmmm, that turned into something I wasnt quite prepared for!
DPO loves interpreting dreams it seems :)

New Moon Spread

From Eowyn's post Ive decided to do her New Moon Spread as we at that time between waning and waxing - we are still, we are at the darkest part of the Moon's cycle. And within that darkness is the unknown, and yet the potential of everything. Like the cauldron of Annwn, like Ceridwen's cauldron, like the darkness of the womb where life is created or else we bleed. Here there just IS, stillness, the void, the moment before the big bang but yet every moment there ever will be.
I love dark moons :D

1.- What lays on your dark depths. What is unseen. What we stumble against in the dark nights - Heather
Theres an undercurrent of change. Theres the obvious stuff that is clear, but theres that deep energy shift. I have been sleeping really well recently (which is not normal for me) and I think its because of my being on all kinds of levels changing and forming something new... all those winds of change.
And in that, yes there is a feeling of not 'belonging' because in life we are our own persons, our own life paths and sometimes that means going to this weird inbetween place - were we become a stranger amongst friends, or that process of when we try to make new ones. We stumble and fumble... or bumble (bumble bees!)
I think this also refers to my deep concern, yet perhaps inevitable reality that I will drift away from people. Thats sad, but at the same time I'll be drawing closer to new people. Swings and round abouts.

2.- What will begin to show, to arise.- Woad Another friend.. I think I've done a lot of work on being clear in directing my energies.. now its time to see what the 'offshoots' are from this stalk of woad. I've got my freedom, now its time to explore, time to play, time to roam around the forest like the Wild Boar, king of his lands. Although I hope I dont go bull in a china shop like the Boar does lol.
I also feel that this is where I will be tested.. all the prep work done, now its to see if I really mean business. Will I be found wanting?

3.- What will illuminate the dark path. The key in the night.- Primrose And another friend.. the nearest card the DPO has of love, of deep love of what you do and who you are. Its usually something we only experience for someone else, i.e. loving how your partner because so inspired by a book or an idea and watching them chase their tail making it 'work', and we rarely appreciate that in ourselves. Well I do very much. I have a deep love of my path, of my relationship with the Gods and provides me such trouble and joy. Im one dedicated puppy lol, but as Woad shows, a determined one too.

0.- Yourself. Shadow card, from the base of the deck - Agrimony Ohh and another friend. This is a fabulous gathering of plants.
I've also got some Agrimony burning in an incense I've made. I'm preparing for a load of new beginnings that will happen in this moon phase. Not just the thinking, the planning, and even the prep to be 'ready' is nearly all but done. Now Im ready for the new sight, and for the inevitable new shit that is going to come and mess up my nice clean headspace LOL.
Just remember to take it one step at a time :)

So overall I have a reading that highlights energy shiftings in the darkness, my own energies changing and now I'm ready to play. But my guiding light will be that Im listening to my heart, to what is wanted of me. Which is what I have been carefully listening to and defining over the past few months. Now its going to come to fruition :)

I love it when a plan comes together. Very much a lover of a plan.

A night-time reflection - Agrimony

Ive had a BUSY day, but one of my own making. Being ill with flu meant I couldnt do a load of jobs that I had planned to do, and then kept putting off before I got too ill to even think about doing them. I suppose theres a lesson there, do things when you need to do them and not put them off in the first place LOL.

I've had a whale of a night this evening, a glass of wine (I know, most unusual for me to drink at home), funnies on the TV and my Deviant Moon. Yes, its siren's song was too much to resist and Ive spent a few hours doing quick back to back readings with it for people on AT. I've had such fun with this deck this evening. Its got a real wicked sense of humour, deliciously macabre and yet deeply endearing and loving. Its got the spirit of the graveside about it (and a lot of the samples used in the deck are from graveyards and old lunatic asylums) and will make you laugh with misery and cry with joy and all in between. I could wax lyrical about it all evening but I wont.

Im just glad that my DPO isnt the jealous type. Plants aren't like that, its too druidic a deck to get jealous and also, plants work on a totally different time frame. But after the highs and madness of the Deviant Moon, I knew I needed a card to just sit, pause, reflect and ground myself before thinking of bed time. So Im using my PDR for a reflection on the day, a reflection for a good sleep I hope!

Agrimony fell out the pack whilst I was shuffling. And I did what I normally do and put the card back in my shuffling pile. I dont 'do' fly aways or special meaning in a dropped card, its just bad shuffling IMO. However, tonight I couldnt carry on shuffling after I had put it in the pack, so I had to hunt for it. Now I feel better seeing it on my spread cloth.
So, in the essense of reflection and bringing energy down for sleepybys Im just going to read the book and agree/disagree with it. No deeply intuitive stuff tonight. Although I do know I've seen this plant in the wild inner Garden.

The Birch in the card is interesting too. Today ive been spring cleaning. I know on a dark moon, but Ive been banishing the dust bunnies under the bed, the old unloved books off the shelves and donating them to charity. Thats all darkmoony stuff! (justifying it to yourself, on your own blog, you are a loony, ok I'll shhh now).

Purification, liberation, dispelling sorrow or lethargy - all right! Today I really put the nails in the coffin of this flu. Sorted stuff in town, hoovering under the bed and everything. I really needed to do this during this moon. Chamomile being a cleansing, calming herb and I spent most of it too ill or busy to do the cleansing or calming bit, now I have and so I can :).
I like what the book mentions also about how it aids sleep! Well its even more interesting how I couldnt shuffle it back into the pack.

I even like the opening flowers on the card, those bright yellow stars just starting to come into bloom, energy awaking but not fully just yet. Im not back to being 100% after the flu, but after being so productive today I feel like Im 90% there.

Ive got a sense of wiping away with this card.. a gentle wipe to cleanse the negative, a soothing touch to send you to sleep, a peaceful sigh that puts the world behind you at the moment infront of you - either for ritual, or for sleeeeeeeep.

Blessed sleep.

Bon nuit!

ETA - I had the best nights sleep Ive had in a long time! I usually have disturbed sleep, waking up once or twice in the night, but last night I was asleep and dead to the world. Blissful :)

Project X and Project Y.

Oooh I did a quick reading whilst I was musing about project Y here and here

One thing that I really want to focus on is something I said 'Thats how I feel, happy yet charged for all the stuff thats about to happen or even not happen. But I know that what happens is meant to be and what falls at the wayside will be deadwood. ' when pondering about Project Y.

It seems that project X isnt going to happen, but ya know, these things happen and now Project Y is looking promising. And to be honest, I thought it was going to be the lesser of the two options. LOL. I shouldnt judge things should I, the DPO, Project Y etc.
So what is? Aaaah that is a secret, but its something awesome and I feel really happy, full of positive charge like the Fern said in that other reading I did.

So I thought I'd try Gazel's spread to focus on it a bit more deeply.

The Situation - Ivy
Something that nourishes and feeds us all in the darkness. Ivy offers a support network, offers a way of protection through the lifeforce and with what 'feels right'. However, Ivy is a plant of restriction also, to have ties that bind. But that can be a positive thing if they are ones you accept and can trust in.
There is also Ivy and the moon, and we know my obsession with the moons. Project Y is from that lunacy and is me letting it flow, being liberated to go deeper.

The Challenge - Clover
To balance the learning with the art, to be aware of the proeject and yet keeping it with all the other things that inspire me and nurture me. They can all go into the pool if they are positive and nurturing. Be aware of the eggs I put in my basket.
I wonder if Clover is offering the idea of an extra leaf doesnt mean more luck - so be aware of putting too much on my plate. But when everything is so inspiring, its hard not to!
Also, I think part of it is to assimilate all that knowledge into one thing. Its like the project is full of nuts of inspiration, that I need to chew on, that I need to swim and absorb the inspiration to 'get it'. Might feel overwhelming and like a needle in the hay stack, but thers lynchpin needed to understand it. It will be a mystery, a recieved revelation, the feeling of it all 'clicking' in. And study as you like, sometimes it just needs good old LUCK.

PDR review reading.

Its been ages since I've played with my DPO. It seems ages since I was even outside under the full moon in the snow, cleansing its bag and spread cloth. Its with a touch of nerves that I pick up my DPO this evening. How will we fair now I've been ill for so long and not played with it. I tried to pick it up the other evening, but it just wasnt happening and the plants just said 'leave it out' lol.

So, Ive had to do a centering and focusing practice before even opening the deck bag tonight. But that feels appropriate. To put the 'vibes' of illness at the door and let the flowers of the plants sing to me something hopeful.

So I finally get a chance to play with Onyx's tweaking of a previous spread, tweaked with the Primary Deck Reflections in mind.. Onyx's post for the spread here

The spread..

******2*****4*****
*********3********
******1*****5*****

Position One: How am I progressing with my PDR? Cuckoo Pint
Well, the card shows that Im making a real progress with the PDR, far more so that I ever thought I was. If I think back to how I was very sketchy in my aims when I set up this blog - yet my experiences and the readings I've had with the DPO have come on really well. I've been able to go with my intuition a bit more and let the plants speak to me.
Cuckoo Pint I also think of like the Lovers, the union of male and female, the fizzle of attraction and how that plant is just saying 'come and get me baby' lol. And I have had some decks that have battled for my affections (one Deviant Moon) and other interests and flu that have been also in the background. Yet its been a very good constant for me.
I think we are a really good match! I think its also because the plants want to permeate through all the levels of your being. Its not just an oracle deck to find out what will happen with X or who will ask me out on valentines day. The plants energies are there to really work their magick on you. And Im more than happy for them to do so.

Position Two: Why do I need to do this PDR? Nettle
OK... heres the stinger. Part of my deeeeep down reasons to play with this deck was to fight against an assumption I'd made about the DPO. I thought 'Philip, Stephanie and Bill had a fab idea with this deck, but plants just don't 'read' the same way other types of oracles do'. And boy did they prove me wrong! So its that shedding of my misconceptions, that my own issue with it had created a problem, like people who think of nettles as evil stinging plants yet are marvelled when they drink its tea, or make nettle string etc. Its an amazing plant.
Also, I've had a few stingers in 2010 so far. And the DPO has been a wonderful processing tool of whats been happening. Whether this blog is a wonderful processing tool is something to be debated about in my head as I progress with my PDR. But yes, its definitely good for me to do this regular practice and reflection with the plants.

Position Three: What problem am I facing with my PDR? Vervain
The Hare on this card is looking at me.. or rather looking at me and wanting to LEAP back into the Nettle or the Cuckoo Pint cards. A lot has happened to me over the past few weeks, both on the inner and outer realms, both to do with PDR and not to do with PDR. And thats groovy - thats the wonderful mystery of what life is all about.
I guess what my problem is that sometimes I get so excited and want to LEAP OFF to other ideas, other possible areas of study, that I forget that solid foundation. These changes that have happened to be recently I really feel are due to the work Im doing with the DPO, reflective connecting process of Spirit and my Self - and thats a very sacred process not to be forgotten by the new shiney thing in the corner (yes I have short attention spans and magpie tendencies). Also, I get an idea and want to leap off making connections that never get finished.
SO Vervain is saying this is where I have felt connected, nourished and empowered, and this is where I need to keep working, putting more time in with the cards. Not to be forgotten.
I think especially as March is looking to be a particularly 'mad march' (get it, mad march, hare.. oh nevermind LOL), its a reminder to be focused.
Thank you Vervain :)

Position Four: Where do I need to focus on developing in my PDR? Yarrow
First words in my head - divination.
OK I've shown that DPO is more than a reading deck, its more than pretty set of pictures, BUT i do need to do more readings for others with it. It was part of my plan when doing this PDR and so it should continue to be!
Yarrow and Nettle both have snakes... perhaps this is something I need to consider? Hmph. Yarrow is not a card I 'feel' a lot for, apart from the arrow thing, but I feel that doesnt apply so much here. Hmph some more. I think the snake is significant.

Position Five: What can I gain from this PDR? Clover
*sings roll me over...*cough* maybe not..
Well Im also stumped on this card. Ok, deep breathe and feel..
The card is like a little piece of faery in the woods, an untouched place by man. The blessed 4 leafed clovers are hidden in the card but I can see them. Its like I've been on a quest to find one thing, and found something so much greater.
So here is an idea of small caterpillers big butterflies grow.
The Salmon is a fish of wisdom and inspiration but only by the food it eats and the waters it lives in. So I need to fill my PDR with good positive ideas so that positive outcomes come from it.
And not to forget that my personal life affects my relationship with the DPO. If I have illness then that will affect the DPO and my PDR - and I really did not want to play when I had the flu. So there is a feeling of deep respect and sharings of energies that needs to be appreciated.
The books keywords of Wisdom, health, good fortune, venom, liberation and assimilation all roll into what I have felt. However the words dont justify the feeling. There is this deeper energy work with my PDR experience of the DPO that is really important to me in ways I know and cant even begin to know. That might sound weird pagan hippy shit - but its how I roll!

The base card (also a base card, plants have ROOTS ya know!) is Woad another old friend and ally here in DPO land.
The PDR keeps me on the straight and narrow, the stem of the plant vs the umbrella like nature of the roots and flowering point of the card. I was speaking to an archaeologist friend of mine about spears, and how with a spear you have to hold your nerve, you are getting up close to your prey and you need be bloody bonkers to do it considering prey like the Wild Boar.
LOL Maybe Im bonkers trying to hunt myself? Well they do say God helps those that helps themselves...

BBQ anyone? :P

So... what does that mean for my February plans with the PDR.
1) Keep it as the DPO. Its just working so well, its going somewhere interesting and I want to find out where it goes
2) Its a really good nurturing rock for me to learn the DPO, to reflect on myself, but also to have a connection with those who are also following a PDR experience on AT. So its that reason I want to 're-open' the doors to the blog and celebrate that connection. You have to be in the web to feel part of it.
3) continue holding myself to the outline set out in post 2 of this wee blog. Its working, Bramble is a good 'get off your arse and do something coz its good for you' energy to have around me at the mo :)

Groovy! My PDR chums will be so happy :D

broken legs and pancakes

I feel really flat today, Im having a pancake day. I just feel blah.

Last night I had a very odd dream that keeps replaying on my mind. I was on a swing, and it took me a while before I got on the swing of the swing. I was going backwards when someone came and walked infront of the swing. I think it had been a game in the dream of them running across the swing as I swung forwards.
Anyways, for some reason, before I got anywhere near them they fell on the floor and broke their leg. It was a proper nasty break, as if i'd broken a pencil. I could see all inside the leg, the marrow, the vessels, the tendons and muscles.. it was quite gorey but even in the dream I had a nurse's curiousity of 'ooooh so thats what it really looks like' lol.

So, I want to probe what this dream means. Asking my newly consecrated DPO and its bag and cloth, I got the reply of Vervain (top card) and Lady's Mantle (bottom card).
Vervain keeps saying to me something about needing to break things apart. To really get a true idea of what is happening, of what something is, you need to pull it apart, smash it open and see how it works.
I keep getting the idea of eggs cracking as well, eggs are only symbols of rebirth and new life because we know inside is a new life growing - needing to be smashed open to come out.
The book mentions a joining together and a reconsiliation - about how offerings and sacrifice reconnect us to the Gods and to the Magic of the land. Maybe I need to go out and make an offering to put the broken leg back together again?

Lady's Mantle is an interesting one. I feel that its first reply is I've done well to read about this dream, to look deeper into it and find out its meaning, its healing, its potential. Dreams, like dew drops can sometimes be easy to forget about, walk through to get on with the rest of the day. I have felt this one was imporant to read about..
It could also be another message to do with the recent vibes in my life to connect deeper to the Goddess, the subconscious, the Moon etc.

By the Gods these plants are good!

I also desperately want to do a PDR reading over my experiment so far! But that'll also wait till later. Hopefully I'll have some get-go today to organise myself!
